“My fiancé and I recently stayed at Catalonia Royal Bavaro Adults Only. While we enjoyed many aspects of our stay, there are areas that need improvement, including room assignments, room updates, food quality at some restaurants, and the large number of cats throughout the property, which may be an issue for guests with allergies. Upon arrival at 11:30 a.m., our room was not ready, and the first room assigned had a view of a construction site. Thankfully, Minerva and Myra at the Front Desk……

“The property feels quite dated despite charging premium rates. Its five-star designation is misleading; it aligns more closely with a four-star experience. For context, the St. Regis next door clearly meets true five-star standards and highlights the difference. That said, the food quality at Eden Roc is very good, and the villas are spacious. However, the promotional images are somewhat misleading and don’t reflect the reality of most rooms. The beach, is beautiful, and we really enjoyed……
