“I stayed for 4 days and 3nights. The food was great specially the dinner buffet. Overall great food! The ground staff was great but at times the front desk staff could be short with you. And not very helpful other than the staff was great! The room was very clean and the cleaning staff cleaned the rooms each day which was nice. Beach was small but nice and cleaned. Had a great time the entertainment was ok, the downfall is at night it’s not much to do. The resort is next to a lot local things……

“Overall, we had a great stay. The view was amazing, and the staff and customer service were 10/10. Everyone was very welcoming and attentive. The only downside was the food quality, which we would rate a 6/10, and unfortunately one of my friends got sick from the food. We also felt that staying in Building 4 made it inconvenient to get to the lunch and main areas since we had to walk across the resort often. Other than that, we really enjoyed our experience.”

“Best bathroom I’ve encountered in my travels - the deep soaking tub and extra large shower with 3 separate areas with shower heads were divine! Beach was beautiful and the food was very good. Consistently had decent eating options as a plant based diner. Highly recommend!”

“We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Riu Montego Bay. The hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. The food was fresh, plentiful, and offered a good variety, which we really appreciated. The beach and water were also very clean and beautiful, making it easy to enjoy our time by the ocean. The only downside during our stay was the beach vendors. They were very persistent and often continued approaching us even after we politely……

“What really made this place special was the people. The grounds were beautiful. The tree house huts were cute and such a vibe, but the staff were what truly sold us on the resort. Not much in the form of nightly entertainment, but you can always go off resort. All in all- would book again and highly recommend.”

“Had an ocean view room which had a great view and was quite close to the water. We wanted a room with two beds but had to settle for a queen bed and a cot. We didn’t have all inclusive plan but paid for drinks and enjoyed the pizza made at resort. Walking to nearby restaurants was a little nervous as there isn’t much of a shoulder on the road. Pool was warm and clean. We were there for a week and saw a band play twice there. Awesome!”

“We have been to Jamaica at least 10-15 times and have stayed at several AI resorts throughout the island. Cons: This was my least favorite and I’d consider it a 3 star at best. Resort is a ghost town after 9/10pm. Need more nightly activities for the 20-40ish crowd. Piano bar gets old. Need to add foam parties, more genres of music, karaoke on stage and on a weekend. Pros: The staff(Amay, Cori, Moesha & Dean were all fabulous & went above and beyond. The ocean/beach are amazing with fun/free……

“From the moment we arrived, we knew this place was special. The owner personally welcomed us, and the doorman was sweet—honestly, everyone working here was topnotch. They take care of everything you need. The Welcome & Dining: We checked in early & offered wine upon arrival, and dinner at the restaurant was yum—tasty food with a stunning ocean view. The restaurant attracts international travelers; we met guests from Spain and France stopping by for lunch, which added to the atmosphere. The Room……
