"This resort was lovely. Right off of the main strip, this resort had plenty of amenities, activities, events, and a community feel. The entertainment staff were fantastic at making you feel at home and getting you involved in the pool side games. The rooms were clean with a good amount of space."

"Rooms are big, clean and nice. Staff is HORRID! My check experience was absolutely terrible. The lady checked me in was rude and barely knew any English. She had me waiting for good 20 min to finish counting her cash register. Her priorities are all messed up. Didn’t even acknowledge my arrival with an eye contact. Totally horrible. I barely understood what she said and just wanted to get away from her asap. Buffet staff are hit or miss. My last day breakfast @7 am on Friday March 27th, the host rolled her eyes cause I asked her to sit me closer to buffet due to discomfort. Place was empty anyway. When I asked her why would u do such a thing, she lied about something getting into her eye. Entertainment team tries hard but no experience at all. Bunch of kids spending more time socializing with each other rather than the guests. Food was mediocre at best. The smoothie bar at breakfast was great. Not a lot of healthy protein options. I don’t drink so I can’t judge on alcohol. Night shows are not bad. Some are good actually i.e fire show. Room service don’t pick up after midnight even though menu says otherwise. Most first are Canadian and are super nice. Beach is nonexistent. Small and full with seaweed. Smell is bad. Would I go back? Had the staff been nicer, I probably would consider. But as is, absolutely not. That rolled eye experience on my last day was horrendous. "

"Pretty good overall. Maintenance was poor on some areas. The pool table in the beach bar had a broken rail and was never fixed the entire time we were there as an example. Food was very good in most restaurants except for the Mexican buffet. We ate there the first night and the waiter got our order wrong and was rude when we corrected him. "

"I stayed at the El Beso and they really took care of us. We got a room upgrade, tshirts, and free champagne. They noticed my suitcase was broken and offered to give me a new one for free. I went very taken care of and able to relax. Property is huge and beautiful. There was a tram to take you around which was nice. Only thing is they have a few kinks to sort out. We waited over an hour and a half for the Mexican restaurant when we could see parties leaving and tables not being bussed and resat. Waited almost 2 hours to make an in person reservation at the hibachi restaurant. Only about 20 people were ahead of us in line so not sure why it took that long. Other than logistical stuff like that, this place was absolutely amazing, I would definitely return"
