“The location was wonderful. Convenient to historic downtown Durango, but not in the middle of traffic congestion and noise. The front desk clerks, Doug and Stephanie, were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The dining area, for morning breakfast, was clean and well maintained by dining staff. “Our time at Apple Orchard was perfect! The property is beautiful, peaceful and cozy! Our room was lovely, comfortable and very clean. The owners are welcoming and friendly and happy to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There are lots of apples trees on the property which are used for pies and other delicious things. You must try a pie! They are amazing! The inn was right down the street from Durango Hot Springs and Dalton Ranch Golf Course. Its not far from downtown or the ski resort……

“This hotel has a very nice view and is a great choice for shooting or watching the stars. Their service staff is very friendly and will assist you very well with things to do at the top of the mountain to fix inconveniences. The rooms are slightly smaller than similarly priced hotels, but I think the starry sky at night definitely makes up for it, and the balcony on the side of the house offers a great starry sky experience.
