“Very disappointing stay. This hotel charges five star prices but delivers a three star experience at best. The property is old and poorly maintained, and the staff were consistently rude and dismissive whenever we needed help. Our room key stopped working two days in a row, and the front desk acted as if it was no big deal. At checkout, another guest had the exact same issue, and the staff simply laughed it off. The breakfast buffet was terrible. The cold cuts appeared spoiled, there were bugs……

“My family of 5 enjoyed our 5 night stay here very much. The pools were nice to soak in after a day of hiking, ranging from 80.6 degrees to around 105 I think. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and everything seemed very clean. We enjoyed the included breakfast in the mornings before starting our day, and ice from the bar to fill our water bottles. We were disappointed that the Ficus coffee bar didn't open until 3, but after about the 3rd day we realized that the bar inside the……

“This hotwl was an amazing place to stay! Daniel was an incredible host and took us on tours in their own brand-new private bus at a great rate, which made everything so easy. He even drove us back to San Jose and had a baby seat for our little one! The food was excellent, the rooms were much bigger than we expected, and the location was perfect. The highlight was the stunning view of the volcano—you can see it so clearly from the beautiful pool (when it is not cloudy), it's like it's right in……
