"The staff member on duty was extremely helpful in finding us the right room: with window and space to climb out of both sides of the bed. I was very appreciative. The room itself was clean, good linens, and the attention to detail needed to make a stay in a small place practical (surfaces for toiletries etc, hangars, big enough shower room, good lighting). "
"We found the Central Hotel to be exactly as it was described - a clean and well run hotel that provides a basic center-point from which to experience the local attractions and a secure place to store one’s luggage while away to some of the many locations made available through the St Pancras international station. We were able to leave for Paris on an early train, spend the day sightseeing, and return on a later train. The location is fantastic and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The Central hotel worked well for our budget and we won’t hesitate to stay there again should we return to the area."
"A basic, comfortable & clean hotel. Room was small & the decor somewhat faded, but this did not detract from the overall experience. Staff were friendly & helpful, tv reception was good (not always the case in hotels), & the shower was warm & easy to use. Tea making facilities were provided. There was no lift & the stairs were a bit cramped & there was no air conditioning. This did not bother us but is mentioned for reference. Good location close to Kings Cross, St Pancras & Euston. Some noise from the street overnight. It is a good base for central London for those on a budget."
