“Group of 9, Apr 11-18, 2026. We just returned from our stay, and all of us wish we were still there. I will start by saying this was my favourite all-inclusive experience ever. Staff- amazing! Food- amazing! Cleanliness- amazing! Room- amazing! Property/amazing! Beach/pools- amazing! Expedia pictures don’t do it justice. A fantastic adults-only / all inclusive experience! ”

“They consider themselves as luxury but they are really not. There were mice droppings ALL OVER the outside of the room in the hallways. Mice droppings in the staircase corners. They have an infestation!!! Also everything is made pretty cheap (furniture, decor, etc). The staff was overwhelmed with the occupancy the week we were there. Would not come back. Hector at the pool and beach was great!! And the lady that did the margarita class was awesome!”

“The staff was very nice, but lack communication skills on how the resort works for first time visitors to an all inclusive resort. Example… 1. We paid extra for the concierge/butler service and never meet one of them. 2. Still couldn’t get a reservation to a restaurant until our last night til 9:00 pm. They are building a new hotel next to the Hyatt and they start work at 7:30 each morning. It’s no where noted that construction was taking place. The rooms are super clean and the……

“A mixed review. Some of the staff are exceptional and go above and beyond - they work extremely hard in a busy/challenging environment. Beautiful setting also. However, we were overrun by those attending an event at the conference centre and our experience was negatively impacted as a result - bar areas closed off. Reduced staff. No wait list system operated for diving/activities so my husband very nearly missed out because of a last minute late booking despite the fact that he had been in……

“The hotel is nice, but I wouldn’t visit again. The bungalows are dated and the water below is murky and filled with seaweed. We couldn’t use the beach, because of the seaweed. They were working hard to try and remove it, but it didn’t work. The food is delicious, but the menu doesn’t change much, so after 3 days, we were bored with the food options. There were ants in our room, so we called the front desk and they sent someone to spray the room. The fumes caused me to itch all over, so that……

“Our Villa was not on the beach but it was spectacular. With a private pool and jacuzzi. It was family-friendly. Many activities for the kids. Bicycles were given to each family member. The beach area is amazing. It has a great restaurant and a nice pool. The restaurants at the hotel and at the other Mayakoba hotels are very good. The best part is the staff. They accommodate and coordinate everything you want. Our personal concierge Madai was GREAT! ”
