“Staff were amazing, the restaurant manager, Alfie and Caroline in the restaurant, stand out. But I have to say all the staff in every department couldn’t do enough. The property is amazing with amazing views across a beautiful valley. I had an exceptional breakfast two days running and Sunday lunch all of which were delicious and incredible value. “Overall hotel room is okay but not too happy to assign to floor 0 as I found bugs inside the room from time to time. Initially, I want to extend my stay but I finally moved to nearby hotel for extra nights as I don’t want to stay in floor 0. The most important is they are not providing service to keep guests’ baggage, so I need to walk round to keep them at the airport wait till check in. They should mention it on their booking page.”

“One bedroom suite booked. Sofa bed in sitting room. Spacious. V clean with new decor. Used washing machine. Easy to use. Good soundproof quality. Plenty of storage. One downside: not enough parking spaces. Needed to park on street right outside hotel (allowed between 7 pm to 7 am the next day). Husband then got up around 6:30 n parked our car back into hotel’s compound once after a car left. Otherwise the stay was perfect”

“Top quality food. Steak & Ale pie to die for and excellent fish & chips. Great breakfast with quality produce. Brilliant selection of ales. Old fashioned English Inn with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Tidy room with a modern en-suite shower room. Bed not to our liking but that's very much a personal choice. In a very quiet location with no shops nearby but would recommend for an overnight stay.”
