"Stayed for one night. Hotel is beautiful. Our room was spacious and included a small kitchen and jacuzzi bathtub. Loved the refreshments and snack basket in our room. Highly recommend!!!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great vacation in Avila. CVR was responsive and fixed a couple of issues really quickly. The condo is beautiful and well appointed, although WiFi is slow. My husband worked while we were there, but had some trouble with the internet speed. This may just be location. Avila is a lovely sleepy beach town, so unplugging isn’t a bad idea. Cellular service was good, so hotspotting works well. We will rent from CVR again!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental was clean, quiet, and safe. It was within a block to the beach and pier, had easy access to restaurants, and easy to reach by car from Cal Poly SLO. It is just the right size for 1 or 2 people. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, plates, bowls, and a Keurig machine that could make a pot or a single mug, depending on the need. Some K-cups, sugar, and creamer were provided. The management was responsive to questions. One point to keep in mind: Avila market is not open on Mondays or Tuesdays, so if you are planning to cook, you will need to go shopping in SLO or Pismo on those days."

"Wonderful location. The home was perfect for me. The bed was comfortable, which is always a plus. The kitchen was well stocked. I enjoyed the view of Avila Pier from the lanai while tapping away on my computer keyboard, or just enjoying a snack and a cocktail. Laundry was a plus, especially since I had to extend my stay. I enjoyed lunch at Hula Hut and Happy Hour at Custom House. Blue Moon over Avila was very tasty! And of course several gift shops and clothing stores. And the beach......ahhhhhh yes. Very convenient and accessible. The "dumb waiter" was a great help, especially with groceries. From the garage, entering the "main" entrance to the condo, there are 4 flights of stairs and two locked doors before you access the condo. Once I figured out the lay of the land, I started using the pedestrian stairs where there's one locked gate with a code to access. This is from the lanai door, which can be locked from the outside. Minor details, but some may want to know this ahead of time. Great Place! Will return if available!"

"What a cute beach cottage. Perfect for us two. Room and grounds were clean. Right smack in the middle of everything so no need to jump in a car all the time. This area is also the perfect stopping ground/home base for local day trips to neighboring towns. Oh, and the Host was very accommodating and responded quickly to our question. Only wish it had a small closet. Would definitely stay here again."
