I loved Cham Island and this homestay. ”

“A delightful homestay! Mama Kim was so welcoming and prepared lovely meals. We enjoyed chatting with her using Google translate. She helped arrange boats and motorbike/taxis to local bays where we enjoyed snorkelling. It was a short stroll down the lane to the beachfront and cafes. ”

The host invited me to share some dinners with his family & I thought that they were being kind, but in the end he said that I owed him money for the food. I wound up trading him for the two nights that I had paid for, but wasn’t there. I had to stay in Danang the 1st night because the speed boat to & from the island only goes in the early morn & I had to leave a day early because of a storm coming & no boat running.
