“The location of the property was excellent. The room was very nice with friendly staff. The only minor thing that we did not like was the TV. It was a mini baby toy Tv with low picture quality. I know you don’t watch Tv during vacation but I was hoping to enjoy the World Cup games while we were getting ready for dinner.”

“Pretty good hotel option in La Fortuna with unobstructed views of the Arenal Volcano with horses/donkeys roaming freely in the backside of the resort. Has a pretty decent fitness centers with plenty of equipment. Pools were nice. Some of the "hot spring" pools were the size of a jacuzzi, but some were much larger and could accommodate many guests. Included breakfast was decent.”

“We had a really great stay at Hotel Volcan Verde. It was a lovely location and cabin to stay in. Staff was helpful in getting us organized for different activities. Grounds were very quiet and the garden was fantastic! Great restaurants around and a nice balance between nature and proximity to different amenities. Would for sure recommend. “Parking was pretty tight, so if you are using a larger vehicle make sure to let them know so you can work with your down stairs neighbor. There isn’t really anything in walking distance but there is tons near by if you are driving ! The property owner was extremely kind and had great suggestions for activities for our stay. The morning birds and howler money were an added bonus and you never know what creatures you are going to catch rubbing under the street lights at night ! Extremely……

“Staff were so helpful and it was easy to book excursions through the hotel. Good, central location. Bring cash - dollars or colones - for booking excursions. Recommend sloth tour with Armando if you have kids, and any of the excursions with Hotel Los Lagos as they end in hot springs and natural cool pools with water slides and a wet bar.”

“Our stay at Hotel Mountain Paradise in La Fortuna was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. We stayed in a gorgeous room with a private pool and breathtaking views of Arenal Volcano. Waking up every morning to that incredible scenery felt like a dream. The entire property is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and surrounded by nature.
