“I understand this was an eco lodge. However, there is no air and little cross breeze. Our bed was broken, there were not enough towels (only 3 for 5 people), we were encouraged to shower by turning the water off while we used soap, the pots and pans were so dirty that some could not be cleaned. The worst was that the staff was unprofessional. They did not communicate effectively, they were dismissive about simple requests (like "how to check in") and once we did check in we NEVER heard from……

“The property was in pristine condition located near the Volcano Village and highway. We had a little difficulty with the cable TV and lighting & ceiling fan control but otherwise experienced no problems other than the constant chirping of Coqui frogs which are common throughout the area.”

“Easy check in, cool spot. It's a very humid place in a thick rainforest, so there are some obvious drawbacks. The hot tub was nice and the area was really cool though, we had a good stay. ”

“We were really looking forward to the hot tub and it was the main reason we booked this place. When we looked at it, it was cloudy and dirty. We later found out it was broken. We ended up not staying either of the two nights we booked here. It seems fair to get a some refund since the hot tub was broken.”
