“Great location just a short drive to town and 10 miles to the Rocks on Lake Superior. Upon arrival, we were early for check in, we were greeted by Joan and her faithful companion, Cocoa. Unit is a downstairs, private entry. A king bedroom, and a queen bedroom, off the living and dining room. Bunkbeds off the Dining Room, double bed is n bottom, but not in a separate bedroom. “Our family of 4 stayed at this house for a short getaway to ride the trails around Newberry. The location has easy access to the trails by sled, as well as a gas station. Being in town, restaurants and grocery stores are nearby and available. The way the driveway is situated makes it easy to pull your trailer in for loading and unloading your equipment. The house was cozy and there was a nice mud room off the back for all your gear. The host was responsive and accommodating. We would stay here……

“Good accommodations for the price. We used this house as a base for road trips each day so we were only there to sleep. Well stocked with supplies and kitchen needs. The attic bedrooms were very hot but we made do with the multiple fans provided. The house had a "rustic/cabin" atmosphere. NOTE: The toilet in the front bathroom leaks leaving a wet floor.”

“The home is basically split into 2 halves, with the entrance/mud room being the divider. The first half has two bedrooms containing 7 beds and a full bathroom. The second half of the home is the master bedroom with full bath, living room, and kitchen/dining area. The two sides can only interact by passing through the mud room and up the stairs of the coat locker area. This actually worked phenomenally for us. We're two guys there on business with some hiking mixed in. We each get tons of privacy……
