I’m not sure what it was but it wasn’t pleasant in the hall ways or in the room I was tempted to leave as others did but I used my OneCash and didn’t want to come out of pocket for a quick one night trip. The a/c leaked pretty bad floor gets super wet. Then the a/c kept wanted to switch to heat so a bit annoying. The pet fee is pretty high and not the same as I had seen on Expedia. “The first room I was assigned literally had black mold and a leaking mirror and sink. The second the shower wouldn’t drain, I even went and bought drano to try to make it better. Never again.”

“We have stayed at the Holiday Inn several times. The hotel is across the main road from the beach, but there is a free trolly to the beach that is available. There is also a public playground for the kids next to the hotel. The breakfast is good. The pool is clean. The staff is nice. Overall it is a good hotel for a beach vacation in Hilton Head.”

“This is a challenging review to write because the staff were very friendly and the property is beautiful, however we waited over 2 hours past when our room should have been ready, had scalding hot water only on the first night and then only luke warm throughout our stay and woke up to no electricity on our last day. It is a very expensive resort ( called 5 star) so these things should not happen. Plus we've heard nothing from them after reporting this.”

“Beautiful hotel with emphasis on quality and service. Ideal location convenient to harbour and beach. Immaculate throughout.”

“The bathroom was not what was displayed online. We did not get master tub and the shower filled up past our ankles when showering. It would not drain unless water off. Also the bathroom door was damaged and would not close all the way, there was a large crack where u can see in. No true privacy. The resort itself was nice but room not as expected or worth the price.”
