“When I was searching for listings, I filtered the search to show results where we would have an entire house to ourselves. This, along with most other results, are not houses. They are multi-building properties. The "chalet" was more like a two-room duplex. We shared a wall with another group. So I felt a little misled (by VRBO, not the host) when we pulled into the property. That said, the property was clean, in a great location, and the host messaged us while we were there asking if……

“There are several positive reasons to choose this property when looking for a place to stay. One of these include the location. You are far enough out of town to be away from bunches of people yet close enough to easily access places you’ll want to such as groceries, gas, restaurants and shopping. There is a walking path nearby but sadly you have to walk along the roadway for a bit to access it. Being pet friendly is great. Almost everything we did in the area welcomes well behaved dogs. “What a great home. When I say fully stocked, I mean EVERY room had everything we could have needed (including the kitchen). I could have packed or bought a lot less (clothes, shampoo, laundry supplies, condiments for kitchen, etc). Washer/dryer combo worked well, WIFI was great. Super quiet neighborhood allowed us to chill on the deck off the living room/kitchen or relax in the hot tub. Communication was pretty good with the owner responding to all my questions prior to arrival, but didn't……

“I booked this location to stay with friends before my wedding in Boulder. We loved this place! The property owners literally thought of everything! The whole house is stocked with plenty of amenities. They gave detailed instructions on how to use things and where items were located. The views were amazing. We enjoyed sitting on the patio with a glass of champagne every night. If you stay here you have to stop by the General Store in Gold Hill for their homemade pizza. It was delicious! The only……

“This home had so many different spaces for our large family to spread out in! It is an interesting layout but it really works great! There are three different living/hang out areas which makes it awesome if you’re spending a few days with a lot of people! The rooms were nice and spread out and we loved the boot/entry room. Great for getting gear on before heading to the mountain. You can ski down from the resort if you know the mountain which was really nice! Don’t try this if you are not shown……

“Second time I stayed at this property. First time with 6 other ladies in the fall. Second time with family, spouse son, daughter in-law and 4 grandkids! Enjoyed both times. Clean, friendly management and good location.”
