“We enjoyed our stay at Wedmore Place. We were there for a wedding which was absolutely beautiful. It was nice to stay at the same location as the ceremony and reception. The breakfasts were good with ladies who couldn't do enough for us. We enjoyed our complimentary wine flights and the free bottle of wine. Our only complaint was the noise from the room above which had 2 children running all over the place. We knew as soon as they were awake in the morning. Ask for a room on the 2nd floor.……

“Hotel parking lot is half destroyed by tree roots and appears under construction. Pool wasn't open, but looked like they are cleaning it or something. We arrived about 40-45mins after 3pm check-in, and rooms were not ready. Another family appeared to to have been waiting ahead of us. They were polite enough to apologize and provide explanation that the hotel had a couple bud loads of people that had checked out that morning. "The property itself is quite good—newly renovated facilities, a convenient location, and a nice free breakfast. It’s easy to see why it has a 9.0 rating and overall, it’s worth it. However, I was assigned a room right next to the ice machine and emergency exit. I checked in late at night and didn’t realize the potential for noise. Unfortunately, the receptionist didn’t mention anything about it, even though I was traveling with kids. Starting as early as 6 a.m., guests began walking around for breakfast, some trying to open the emergency exit—which triggered a loud alarm. The real issue started after 7 a.m, when the emergency exit began functioning as a regular door. Guests continuously came in and out, causing the door to slam shut every 2–3 minutes. The loud banging made it impossible to rest. It was truly exhausting and disrupted our rest completely. Getting a good night’s sleep is one of the main reasons to stay at a nice hotel, and sadly, that didn’t happen here. All in all, this property is ok—but if you're assigned room 126, 128, or any room near the emergency exit, request a room change to avoid a similar experience. "
