「Wonderful stay. You can’t get a better locación for the price. Just a couple of blocks from the Malecon and close to so many restaurants and to the main plaza. Our room was spacious, comfortable and with all needed amenities. The included breakfast is quite complete, fruits, coffee, toast and a main dish to chose from. All the staff is amazing. 「This was our third trip to Casa Velas. We thought it couldn't get any better and then we saw the new breakfast menu and wine list. So glad to have some lighter options for breakfast, and the new wines are excellent. Of course it’s the staff that always makes us want to keep coming back. Notably, Camila, Gerardo, and Omar at breakfast; Enrique, Carlos, and Antonio at Tao; Avaldo and Ramon at the Aqua Bar; and Daniel, Gerardo, Rigo, Rosacio at dinner. 「From start to finish the staff were amazing, friendly and very helpful. Hosts were also amazing and were on top of everything, requests were handled with a quick response. Suite was well equipped, tastefully decorated and clean, balcony was a bonus. The neighborhood is just outside the tourist zone but very walkable to everything in Zona Romantica. Be kind to the stray cats and dogs, feed them if you can, they are part of the charm. 」
