“This lake house exceeded our expectations! The photos looked great, but the cottage was even more beautiful in person. It was well-appointed, comfortable, and full of charm. The views of the lake were stunning and the perfect backdrop for a relaxing, tranquil weekend.Lorraine and Jim were exceptional hosts. They were hospitable, accommodating, friendly, and professional throughout. We loved the special touches, like fresh-baked cookies and homemade granola waiting for us. Everything we needed……

“What a beautiful property. Being able to swim off the dock was pure heaven. Everything you could possibly want. Great restaurants nearby and a marina where you can rent a boat or waverunner. Can't wait to go back.”

“This was our first trip to the Lake Norman area and we were so impressed with everything. This little cottage and its location is perfect. The privacy and safety are top notch. We hope to stay again on our future trips. We had a quiet, relaxed and fun couple of days!”

“Nice experience for overall. Sunset at deck is pretty. Responsive host.”

“Our stay at this lakefront rental was absolutely excellent! From the seamless check-in process to the spotless cleanliness of the home, everything exceeded our expectations. The lake view was breathtaking and made for a peaceful, relaxing getaway. The property was well-maintained, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this beautiful lakefront rental!”

“This property is amazing! All you can hear is animals sounds out here. The little walk down to the waterfall was fun. And getting to meet the piggies and dogs was definitely enjoyable. We really like just sitting outside watching the hummingbirds and the lightning bugs (we dont have many lighting bugs left back home). Would definitely stay here again if ever need to stay in the area again.”

“The house is as advertised, older, rustic, beautiful views. The beach is perfect for little kids. Lake is clean and wonderful. Only issues were sketchy stairs with no rail and the AC doesn't make the house cool enough. For instance, the house is in the 80's if its in the 90's outside. I'd bring a portable AC unit if possible, at least to help avoid sleeping in a puddle of sweat.”

“Could not be happier!! Quaint, quiet just gorgeous. Possibly the best yet. Both porches were just made for relaxing. Will definitely rerent if the occasion calls. I thank The Host immensely and proudly Marcel.”
