“I had not stayed at the Comfort Inn in Gunnison before. The facility was convenient and well-priced compared to the alternatives. I had stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Gunnison many times, but it was not available this time. The Comfort Inn Express was very adequate for my needs and less than half the cost of the Holiday Inn. The breakfast was just as good and well maintained. Parking lot was well lite and safe. Restaurants and Walmart very close by.”

“When we asked to check in at 1:15 PM, they said check-in was at 3. Do not come early. When I came back to check in after 3, she said I already was there to check in. Reminded her I still need to check in. Room smelled of smoke and someone on the outside was fixing his bike until 3 AM. After checking out, no receipt given. Breakfast was amazing as it had a lot of options.”

“Rooms very nice. Our room had a bathtub that was deep and had no grab bars. I could not get in or out of tub to take a shower. I will request room with shower next time”

“Well my basic experience anymore with motels is the owners are slumlords. They do the minimum to keep the places up. Makes you worry about basic cleanliness of the room..”

“The room was very basic...no closet, no safe, no dresser. But the queen sized bed was comfortable, although it was in a small niche so it was a little hard to get in and out. The air conditioning was almost too good. The remote needed to be pointed directly at the unit or it wouldn't change the temperature. A sign posted about that would have been helpful, as would have an extra blanket. Some of the outlets were not working, but the management fixed the "breaker" once I reported it. She……

“Area was quiet and safe. Bed was comfortable. Staff was not very friendly. It was a bit run down and decor was very out dated. Lots of towels provided, but they were very thin. Price was a bit high for a motel. ”

“Entry to the room meant walking thru a wide 1/2 grass 1/2 mud backyard in the dark due to our 8 pm arrival! This meant of course, carrying a large suitcase rather than being able to use the wheels. For this reason, I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it ”
