“It was a really nice place. In our case there was no one else there so we were able to hang out in the main downstairs area which was pretty nice. The staff we needed help from were very responsive as well. I honestly would recommend staying here as the views from the front porch at night and during sunset are amazing!”

“The only reason that I didn't give them four stars is that there was so much light on the front of the building that you could not sit on the chairs and see any stars. I assumed that a place called dark skies would have lights that are motion sensored or more dim so that you could take in the night sky, so we walked about a block down the road to see the stars. Also, the floors are very thin and we could hear every footstep from the neighbors upstairs. The room itself was fine. Very clean and……

“Breakfast was simple: small boxes of cereal, yogurt, etc. My only complaint was that the lobby/breakfast area smelled strongly of sulfur, but the rest of the property did not, thankfully. There were two outdoor hot tubs, but one of them was locked for some reason, which was inconvenient, since it was Valentine's Day weekend. Room was clean! Overall a decent stay. ”

“Mountain Goat Lodge is an absolute GEM of a bed and breakfast! Located at the base of the Sawatch Mountain Range, this charming inn is home to a small herd of friendly goats, a seriously fantastic breakfast spread and the absolutely most comfortable beds. We feel lucky to have found this incredible place and made sure to purchase their delectable homemade goats milk yogurt (10/10 recommend.) My husband and I cannot wait to stay again!! ”
