"Check in personnel are fast, helpful and give you the best warm chocolate chip 🍪 cookies. The hotel is next to the Blue Water bridge to Canada. 🇨🇦 The view of the river is great especially when a freighter goes by. 😀 The attached restaurant and bar service good food and drinks. 😋 The Doubletree at Port Huron is a great hotel. 🏨 "

"The pool was extremely cold as if it was not heated at all! The rooms do not have the nice high back chairs anymore! There were hairs in the drawers and worst of all, the entire room smelled of pot the whole time we were there, as if someone was smoking it right in our room. The worker was very nice and came up and sprayed something to try and clear the smell but someone must have been smoking in one of the rooms beside us because it got increasingly stronger! This hotel is very run down and including the paved parking lot. "

"They did not put out the usual offering for the continental breakfast. When asked about it I was told, “Yeah, they don’t require much to be put out, Wyndham doesn’t.” Since that is part of what is advertised about this property that is disappointing. Last time I stayed here there was a full offering. "
