“The hotel is located right outside the train station and is also close to the local shopping centre, making it a great location to start with. There are also different dining options around the neighbourhood. The hotel seems to be going through some painting touchups but is generally quite clean. A good stay overall.”

“I was in Halifax for a work trip and stayed here while a colleague stayed at a different hotel which was about the same price. We had completely opposite experiences in terms of comfort and quality, and should either of us go to Halifax again, the wool merchant hotel is on top of the list of places to stay.”
