Might have difficulty contacting the owner via whatsapp so Line would be encouraged so prob contact property at least 2-3days in advance would be better. Need to climb some stairs so travel light. "My family and I arrived for our reservation at about 6pm only to be told by the guy at the front desk that our price from Expedia was “too low” and that the price is usually about $135/night (which is NOT true if you check their online prices). "We had an amazing relaxing, calming stay at Sophia’s property. It was sparkling clean, well thought out and Sophia drove us to her favourite restaurants for lunch and dinner and picked us up and dropped us off at the train station. Couldn’t ask for better service! Plus breakfast was delicious, highly recommend staying with Sophia. We stayed a couple weeks after the earthquake and the property is very safe and has no damage."

"Overall this is a great place to stay if you are looking to spend a lot of time at Taroko Gorge. However, that also means the area around is pretty remote and transportation is limited. It is a good budget hostel to stay at if you are staying for a few days. "

"Room is clean, and the host is really nice. The location is not in the center of town. Need to driving car or riding scooter to get there. However, there are family guests stayed in other rooms, the kids woke up early and made some noise :("

"Excellent Value with a Watery-Ending! For the price, this hostel was well worth the money. I was able to rest in the lounge and leave my items prior to check-in. The room itself was comfortable and the beds were typical for many hostels in Taiwan. Bathrooms were clean with hot water. Location was "ok" but if you don't mind walking at least 5 minutes to go somewhere, it's alright. It's perfect if you ride the inter-city bus as it was closer to the bus station than the train station. Staff was A ...
