Elbert 3 Stars Hotels

"My first impression was that I made a very bad choice of hotel. Check-in process was fine and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful but the lobby was very hot. I was told later the AC in the common areas was out and had been for a long time. The room was great and the stay would have been a 5 star except for the aforementioned AC issue. The bar and restaurant were too hot to really sit and enjoy for any length of time. Again, the staff was great and attentive. "

"Everything was fine except there was no bottled water or glassware in my room. I even asked if there was water in the room when I checked in in the evening. The main building was really nicely set up and the staff was super nice."

"Clean, nice, good food, GREAT FREE BREAKFAST ( the best we’ve had at this price point). Friendly staff. Always asked if we wanted our room cleaned. The only complaint is the hot tub is not hot. We were told that it’s the hottest it’s allowed to be by law but I think staff failed to find out that while they had it set to that temp it wasn’t actually heating to that temp because it was cold. "A great property in downtown Colorado Springs."

"Due to major plumbing problems at home arising after 9 pm, I needed a place to stay the night. This was close to home and work. Friendly staff, lovely functional room with a very comfortable bed and great shower. There woman serving at breakfast was delightful. I will definitely recommend to friends and family when they come to town."

"Very nice stay. They’ve updated it since I last stayed in 2004. Very well done!! None of the charging stations worked in the room and the telephone said I had messages but the phone didn’t work. I stayed for 2 days and had to charge my phone in my car. "

"We find the room comfortable for what we needed. Upon arriving it appeared that the coverlet has dirt like someone put their shoes on it. Called down to reception and they immediately replace the coverlet. Nothing else seemed out of order. Overall happy with stay and would stay again."

"The rooms are definitely spacious with the full kitchen and the beds are beyond comfortable. But we had a 4 day stay an NO INTERNET the entire stay. I had to pay for my mobile data just to check my email & SM accounts every day. We called the desk and every single day was told "tomorrow", but never got internet. This was especially frustrating considering the internet was working in the office & breakfast areas. The breakfast is always good there. Other than that it was a nice stay."
