“Nice location - just a couple blocks to the beach. Plenty of dining options nearby. There were a few minor issues with the plumbing - bathroom faucet, shower drain and the office was closed during the holiday weekend so we couldn't report until check out. I assume they will be resolved by maintenance right away.”

“I was perfectly fine with the hotel until I saw what my money could have gotten me at the Waikoloa Beach Mariott. When you compare the two…hands down I would have much rather stayed in Waikoloa. Better beach and much nicer hotel. King Kamehameha had great nearby shopping and restaurants within walking distance so we didn’t lose out too bad. The hotel was a bit dated and I was totally disgusted when I bent down to retrieve a comb that looked like mine and discovered it was not mine and there was……

“The condo is conveniently located parking was easy people at the desk were friendly. The condo I rented, 207, could use a little updating. It was nice and clean. The view is spectacular. ”

I found it strange that the host came by an knocked on the door an hour after we arrived (I had to jump out the shower to answer) and then asked me 5 times to let her know when we planned on leaving via text and with a note even tho the listing said checkout is at 10 am. Was a bit overwhelming and unnecessary. ”

“Mostly very clean, except sliding glass doors. Would have cleaned myself but no cleaning materials on site. Wanted to love this place. We have stayed in other units but were delighted to find a first floor unit. The good: well equipped, comfortable, plenty of towels, and beach stuff. Nice patio area. The bad: communication was awful. Don't know if the problem is with the owner or RedAwning. Most units are welcoming (flowers, complementary chocolates, coffee, and welcoming reminders about check……
