「We could not have picked a better place to stay. It was adjacent to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve--we would just walk down the road for 5 minutes to get there. And the shuttle returning people from the Park to the parking lot passed right by the hotel and would always drop us off at the front, saving us the walk back. Breakfast was super, staff was so friendly and service so good. They had a sign board in reception listing all the activities in the area, such as horseback riding, zip...

Pool was very nice, and while the resort does overall seems family friendly, the pool is overall somewhat small and includes a swim up bar...so kids jumping, thrashing, splashing around isn't necessarily compatible. I did feel like I had to police my kids quite a bit to prevent them splashing people...
