“What a great location!!! Up in the hills away from everything and much cooler than below clouds. Amazing hosts and be sure to take extra quarters to give Meow Meow treats. We called in the mobile massage therapist listed on frig and would highly recommend her for future guests. ”

“This place was cozy and definitely has an awesome view even from the bed. It was cloudy when we arrived, but the morning was gorgeous. Only wish we could have spent a little more time there and enjoyed the outdoor shower more thoroughly.”

“This was my third stay at Jill's Mermaid Studio in the small, quiet village of Napo'opo'o, about 30 - 40 min south of busy Kailua. The village is right on Kealakekua Bay and close to the best snorkelling on the Big Island (IMO). Jill is very knowledgeable about the area and is always helpful and positive. The apartment had everything: good wifi, all the cooking tools I needed, lots of room and a great outdoor shower.”

The lanai was lovely for enjoying a cup of coffee and overlooks the beautifully tended garden. Erin and Elias are down-to-earth hosts who instantly made us feel welcomed.
