“Booked in and couldn’t even book in for the spa as it was fully booked because of a wedding. No email sent suggesting I needed to book. I only wanted to use the sauna. Lots of other people complained about the same thing. ”

“Check in: at the bar. Wait for 5 minutes as the staff served at the bar at that time. Wifi: good. Room: spacious, clean. One grocery shop near by, 5 minutes walk. No self laundry service. Breakfast: not buffet except juoice, milk and cereal, ok, basic. ”

“The staff was very welcoming. But the rooms are old and not everything was clean (hair in the shower, coffee stains on the wall, etc.). First room I got,102, is a special needs room, I guess that was the only one available. After the first night I started getting headaches because of a very strong musty smell. Luckily I could switch rooms and everything was fine.”

“Pleasant, fresh suburban home in a quiet neighborhood. Worked well for us in a short stay. Thoughtfully decorated with new appliances and bath kit. ”

“Biggest positive was communication - helped us out massively with confusion over booking. Quick communication much appreciated. Regarding the property - It was a base for a night. Everything was on the budget side of things. Clean beds and towels. It just needed a thorough spring clean. Random cutlery pots and pans were all mish mash and needed cleaning before use. But was passable - for one night. No complaints. ”

“Staff initially very polite, asked me if I would change address which I was happy to do, I later wished I hadn’t. Place felt unclean, puddle in the kitchen that would not go away despite opining it. It had actually stained the floor. Sofas not fit for purpose more like something you would see in a waiting room where you don’t need to get comfy. Bedding felt grubby. Walls were dirty, carpet was filthy, toilet flush broken, bathroom sink was inaccessible with the door closed, the shower/bath was……

“What can I say. Fantastic little breakaway for me and my family. The cottage is spotless and the hosts Lea and Darren were so lovely and couldn’t do enough for us to ensure we had the most amazing time. They even let my granddaughter play in their private garden. Set in countryside up a small lane. With the nearest pub. The miners arms about a 20 min walk down the lane. I highly recommend Boundary Cottage. You will not be disappointed. Thanks Lea and Darren for being such fantastic hosts.……
