“Beautiful location, lovely hosts. A few details fell short. There was a mold problem in the master suite which needs addressed. Some plumbing fixtures were missing in the second bathroom. The decking outside needed attention (rotten in places) and the undercarriage of the car was damaged to the point of needing a mechanic using the lane where the parking is accessed. There are not enough hand rails for the stairs. The laundry has no dryer and everything takes forever to dry. Take toilet……

“Heel fijn appartement in het centrum van Penzance. De ingang was moeilijk te vinden en de steeg naar de voordeur was rommelig. Maar eenmaal binnen was alles precies zoals omschreven.”

“The apartment was clean and airy, the kitchen had everything in we needed it was lovely coming back to the apartment and relaxing in the afternoon, we were there whe the rest of England was baking but the coast we went to was just right.”

“Judith the host was very helpful with all aspects of staying in The Cobbles and on knowledge of St Ives and surrounding areas.”

“The apartment itself was immaculately clean and well decorated. We chose this property based on its location - close to a number of foodie pubs and other eateries. However, a) we were extremely disappointed with the area itself as we found many of the local retail businesses to be, not particularly clean with quite a few having dirty shopfronts and evidence of litter inside the premises. And b) the stairs from level 1 inside the apartment to the upper level are incredibly steep and difficult to……

“Best about the accomodation is being on top of the hill overlooking the sea. Comfortable for a group of 4 persons. Nice hot shower, spacious twin bedroom with bath, cozy place to rest at the end of the day after Eden project and St Ives. Malcolm and Linda were reached able via mobile and email. We didn't have a car but the flat is near St Austell train station, it’s about 25 mins walk. There are buses. But Taxi difficult to book, long waiting time.”

“Loved the accommodation, kitchen facilities were great. Plenty of space for four adults, bathroom facilities were excellent.”

“The location of this apartment is great with a lovely sea view, just a shame that both patio door windows were so dirty that we didn’t have a clear view and also the balcony glass had not been cleaned , neither had the tables on the balcony, this did spoil it a bit. Also, it wouid be a good idea to have two sets of keys, especially when you have two couples. Other than that we had a really good time.”

“We had such a lovely stay here and were genuinely sad to leave. The location is perfect – just a few minutes' walk from the beautiful Porthcurno beach and café, making it easy to pop down whenever we fancied. The apartment had everything we needed, especially the well-equipped kitchen, and the sunny garden became our favourite spot for reading, relaxing and eating outside after a day exploring. It's also a great base for visiting places like St Michael's Mount, Cape Cornwall and so many gorgeous……
