"We had a very nice and relaxing stay at this location. You're pretty secluded, but not too far from town if needed. The location is peaceful and great for fishing. The house was clean and perfect for our 3 night stay. I would recommend this home to unplug and unwind."

"Relaxed out on the private pier and enjoyed endless hours of fishing. Caught an 80 pound gar, a 60 pound stingray, a 30 pound stingray, numerous catfish, and a few small rays. Truly peaceful. Ventured out to a few nearby towns to check them out and enjoy some good Mexican food. It was a great vacation. Would do it again."

It's great having the boat dock at the house and a public ramp right down the street. "I was very surprised at the beauty of this beachhouse and the fact that we could have our dogs with us as well as extended family. There was so much thoughtfulness...everything from plenty of dishes and pots/pans to scissors in the drawer which we used numerous times. The nightlights were a great help so we didn't trip during the night. We appreciated the TV/cable. "My family is from Palacios and we have stayed at several homes there and this is by far the best home we have stayed in. My mother passed away on Monday morning and we decided to still go to Palacios and celebrate her. I will definitely be staying here again. The property was fully furnished. Plenty of towels, kitchen essentials and games for the kids. Not to mention the cable was a plus."
