"It was really nice. It felt like being in the middle of nowhere the closest Dollar General and Walmart is about 30 minutes away but the quietness was worth it. The only downside was no Verizon phone service but the upside no one called me. Beautiful and relaxing place to stay."

"The cabin was so nice! Great views, very clean, well stocked. It was a bit farther than I realized but that’s on me. We were never able to find the cut through road. We did stop at the “private property” sign and turned around on our way in. I looked at the reviews and saw that we could use that road. It’s a big time saver."

"The property was great. The kids stayed in the loft and the adults all had their own room in the main living space. The kitchen and house were well equipped. We loved the proximity to Blowing Rock and Boone. The kids especially loved walking down to check out the goats in the neighboring farm. Thanks for being great hosts."

"Peggy and Earl's home was just perfect for our dance competition at the Broyhill Civic center. Home has been gorgeously remodeled and the farmhouse chic decor was right up our alley. I was so thankful we chose this home over a hotel as I was later told by friends the hotels were pretty awful. Both check in and checkout were simple and easy and it truly felt like home away from home. Would absolutely recommend this property to anyone needing to stay in the Lenoir area!!!"

"This cottage was cute and comfy, with lots of little updates and personal touches that made our stay extra special. Starting with the chalkboard welcome sign, we felt from the beginning like things were set up just for us. The homemade blueberry muffins were a sweet touch, as were all the little necessities in the kitchen (coffee, filters, Brita in the fridge, etc.) and the bathrooms (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer). "This was a quick getaway and our first time in the NC mountains. The views were beautiful. We spent our time enjoying the quietness, reading in front of the fireplace and just a lazy few days. The house was very clean and comfortable. Will definitely want to come back again."
