Kendal Romantic Hotel

"We are returning to this stunning hotel for the 3rd time and love it here. Great service from staff they were able to give us a double room after we booked twin room available via hotels.com which was great. The food is amazing, fish and chips is a definite go to, and 2nd night we had a 3 course meal closer to fine dining with famtastic quality. Spa services were great we used both pool and steam room which work perfectly to feel fully relaxed. I have used the gym facilities in the past and they are more than enough to have a good workout. Overall, we will definitely be back again. I strongly recommend this hotel for 2 or 3 nights. Make sure you use the full range of the facilities provided."

"We had another lovely stay at The Eagle & Child. It offers great value for money. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable. The en-suite shower room was a good size and the shower was powerful and hot. Tea and coffee making facilities in room with complimentary bottles of water were appreciated as were the chocolate biscuits. Breakfast was included with a great selection of fruit and cereals and a good selection of cooked options. We opted for a full Cumbrian which was cooked fresh and was a very generous portion with quality produce. We also had lunch and evening meal in the bar and both were very enjoyable. Staff and service were friendly and helpful and we look forward to our next stay"
