"We really loved this place to stay. the manager was on site and was so friendly and helpful. it was quiet and peaceful, really clean beautifully done. really close to Ambleside to explore plus lots of great walks from the doorstep... we didn't need to take the car out once and the parking systems in place worked really well."

The room and bathroom were immaculately cleaned and well kept and the host is a gem who cooks the best breakfast which includes lovely free range eggs from her own hens. Waking up in the morning to the view over a beautiful garden beyond the lake to Skiddaw was an extra treat as each morning there was a new ever changing Lake District vista. I'll definitely be back!
