"The owners have thought of everything right down to those who travel with their pet. The only challenge was the steep stairs to the bedroom for our dog. Would come again in warmer weather so that we could go out in the canoe. Lovely property."

"We are skiers so are gone early in the morning and do not return until later in the evening. We eat outside except for breakfast in the morning. We bring our own sheets and towels. We removed the existing sheets on the beds and set aside for washing. All blankets are folded and left on beds for complete airing. We fold up rug so it doesn’t get dirty during our stay. All garbage and trash is removed. We vacuum and mop all floors. We are grateful and appreciative for the rental and treat respectfully. We enjoy the convenience of the location and the simplicity of its contents. We shovel the entrances. Thank you"

"We had a wonderful time with our kids and dog, running, sledding, trekking and warming by the fire. Communication with hosts was impeccable. Very kind hosts reached out to see if we needed anything. Spacious loft and apartment like lower level made room for everyone. We will be coming back next winter and will look into summer booking, too."
