"I booked and paid for a deluxe room facing the pool. Said pool was almost empty. Checked in around 4pm. Found the T.V. didn't work. Went back to the office, told the young lady at the counter about the T.V. she said she would take care of it right away. I told her I was going out for several hours and thought it would be taken care of. I returned at 8pm, T.V. still not working. Same young lady said she would take of it in 10 minutes. "I loved the care taken to ensure we felt welcomed the minute we stepped off of the elevator. Having complimentary snacks, beverages and valet parking was a nice touch. The bathroom was dated but I believe it adds to the nostalgic charm of this historical building. My only suggestion would be to streamline the check in process. I did the pre-arrival registration but still had to check in at the front desk and then again upon arriving to my room. It was a tedious and time consuming task."
