“A new building designed in the style of colonial era homes. Larry and Patricia were terrific hosts. Breakfast was made to order and amazing, including biscuits made according to Larry’s grandmother’s recipe. Comfy bed, plush towels. The dimmer switches for the lights are a great touch. Plenty of parking, nice large backyard with tons of birds. Remote location so it’s nice and quiet. Absolutely would stay here again! ”

“The property was lovely. Very quaint and unique. The winery was beautiful and the walk around the property is so relaxing. The Gabriel Archer Tavern was delicious. The short drive to market square, colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown made it so easy. The staff was very kind and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Room and staff were great, but skip the Continental breakfast. They had muffins, bagels, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, grits and fruit. They had Eggo waffles and hard boiled eggs that were rubbery.”

“This was one of the worst properties we have stayed at. Upon arrival the receptionist was rude. We got a nonsmoking room and they stated they charged $250 if we smoked in the room, yet as soon as we opened the door, all we could smell was smoke. There were holes in the walls, the stair railing was falling, electrical wiring was showing, the room was extremely dirty, there were bugs, the tv in the bedroom didn’t work, and the bathroom light did not work.
