Peaceful garden retreat in stunning, popular countryside village.

Goring is a wonderful location year round with stunning scenic walks through forests, along the river and up hills with great views.
The village is known as friendly and welcoming with an active events calendar.
Less than hour from London by train, we are 10 mins walk from station, 5 to village. We have many top tourist attractions within an hour too.
Separate entrance. Comfortable kingside ze bed with high quality cotton linen.
I am new to VRBO so am not yet rated here but have super host status and a 4.96 rating on another site.

The space
The suite is designed in a Scandi style with natural materials and colours to reflect the local setting.
It has an open plan living area with a small but well equipped kitchenette. I’ve provided basics such as tea/coffee, sugar, salt & pepper, olive oil, balsamic vinegar and cleaning products for your convenience.

It is all one one level and has radiant underfloor heating making it warm and snug.

The bedroom is compact and aims to be a sanctuary of maximum comfort, with a king size bed and super soft cotton bed linen. The duvet and pillows are synthetic and anti allergy. All the blinds are blackout to help you get the best night's sleep.

The bathroom has a powerful electric shower providing instant hot water with fluffy White Company towels, loo roll and liquid soap. For those staying a week or more, I provide a change of towels mid week.

There is an outdoor area with chairs and a table for alfresco dining or just a quiet coffee in the morning, listening to the birds.

Please note that the workspace is on the table adjacent to the kitchenette where there are additional plug sockets provided.

Guest access
The suite is private and has it’s own entrance. Inside it is all on one level. There are a couple of steps outside the front door and along the garden path but once inside it is all one level.
The suite opens onto a mature garden which is very private and for your use to enjoy (we use the garden on the other side of the house). The private parking is on the drive at the front which is not visible from the road.
We have dogs so you may hear the occasional bark. Where-ever you stay in Goring you can hear the faint rumble of trains passing through, however these do not disturb. It is very peaceful and quiet and you can see and hear nature all year. Autumn has amazing colours and winter spectacular skies on sunny days.cotton linen.
