"It's a completely gorgeous spot and the staff are friendly and helpful. The building and grounds are amazing. As a hotel option, it's not ideal in terms of efficiency and modernity, so don't go there looking for that. This is for someone who appreciates an old mansion, a gothic rooftop, an old school fancy bar. The bed in my room needed a new mattress and the walls more soundproofing, though I know that one is hard to do within an old fancy building. The bathroom fixtures should also be...

"There were people talking loud outside my room at 1:00 am, but, overall, cozy , comfortable and a nice breakfast lounge in the morning. Easy access. I’m not a golfer, but if I was, this place is right on a lovely Golf course. I mean, right on it. ⛳️"

"We enjoyed everything about this property and everything was exactly as described! We saw all kinds of wildlife including about a dozen different types of birds. The property sits on a road that is walkable and scenic, and the home has great views of the lake, which is perfect for kayaking. Overall, an enjoyable vacation away from home!"
