“My husband and I were visiting Florida for a wedding and needed a one night stay in Sarasota. This was the perfect place! The host was great with communication, responded in a very timely manner, and answered all our questions. Our stay was very relaxing. We enjoyed the beautiful view from our balcony, the food and music as well! It was also nice watching the planes fly over going to the airport. “What a true delight it was to stay in this cottage bedroom. The owners were very attentive to the little things that came up. My only wish would have been for a writing desk, but there is no room for that. When I asked for a tv tray, they provided a 12x12 side table, so that helped.I would be happy to stay with these hosts again, as the bed was comfy with great linens not to mention the little extras that make the guest’s stay easy. Please consider Casa Tropicana… perfect for one or two……

“The house was amazing! It had everything we needed, even a big pot to boil crab legs!! Close to every store imagine and also to all kinds of beaches. The house had all beach supplies needed for adults and children, but the chairs are a little worn out. Plenty of towels, household items, and linens. There was 8 of us where our two little ones slept on the couches. The pool is so nice. Didnt go to the lake, but enjoyed the veiw.”

The furniture is okay, not the most comfortable, but it wasn’t really an issue. The multiple bathrooms was a huge plus when you have different families staying together. "This hotel is great! friendly and helpful staff, clean and large room (the quality is particularly amazing given the low price), and it is walkable to the Ringling mueseum. The only thing I am not that satisfied is the strong smell of disinfectant in the room. Will definitely consider this place once I visit Sarasota again."
