"Our family had a great time at the Cottage on the Shore! We enjoyed the easy access to the beach. Just a two minute walk thru the sand dunes to the beach. The house was clean and communication with the host was good. I would recommend buying groceries in Gulf Shores before heading out to the house. The quick access to the beach was awesome, and the house is further away from the public access points to the beach so it felt like you head the beach to yourself. "This house was easy to find because of its unique structure. We wish the beach access had been more clear. We couldn’t walk to the public beach and it was hard to find a nearby point where we could enter. It was not a 2 minute walk maybe a 2 minute drive. The main bed was uncomfortable and needed a new mattress. There were lots of stairs which might be challenging for older and younger guests. The kitchen had everything we needed and the house was clean. We enjoyed our stay."

"This property is located in a family and pet friendly neighborhood. Gulf Shores is a short and easy drive away and Dauphin Island is a fun Ferry ride away. The beach is just steps away! The communication from the property managers was fantastic!"

"The property was as described. We had three families and 14 people 8 kids 6 adults. The bedrooms were perfect for our kids and balcony rooms for the the adults. My parents stayed in the lower level with the whirl pool. Plenty of room for us and the second fridge made stocking up with food for our stay very convenient. One thing we were surprised about was the lack of dish towels and drying towels. We picked up some and left them there for the next guests."
