“We came into town for a wedding. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. It was a convenient location to get to everywhere we wanted to go. The host was very helpful and responded quickly.”

“This little red retreat was the perfect place for my family to spend Christmas together this year! Great location and very private, it had everything we needed -- and more. Comfy beds, a fully-stocked kitchen, well-appointed furnishings, gas fireplace and a hot tub. Impeccably clean! John was easily reachable and very helpful when we had a few questions -- a great host! We hope to return when the weather is warmer. (Tip: If you arrive after dark, look for the string lights along the……

“This is a perfect place for a reunion! We realized the house was a “party house” when we saw the 2 fridges in the boathouse room and the sound/surround with speakers everywhere. But the best thing about this house was the feeling of family. The family left nice old family things which added to the feeling of the place.All ages from a 2 year old to a 75 year old enjoyed the home. we could park 5 cars for the graduation party. Very nice. We had evening campfires. Thank you for the nice wood. Also……

“We had a great stay. The location was great and easy to get to nearby wineries and a short drive from other attractions. The place was clean and the host was very responsive. There is a nearby trail for running/walking for early morning exercise if necessary. ”

“The house is nice. The problem is the “65 steps” refers to how many stairs you need to climb down to get to the house (which is at the bottom of a cliff). Some of the stairs are a little crooked and don’t seem 100%. It was very difficult for my elderly in-laws to manage. We would not have rented here had I known this. I did send the owner some questions when we first got there but got no response. Other than that, the house was good. It would be beautiful during the summer. ”
