"Wonderful stay and a unique experience. Dinner in room and breakfast in banquet hall. Traditional sleeping on tatami was surprisingly comfortable. Many staff are bilingual which made communication easy. And the hotel itself was in a quiet location overlooking the lake even though there were many tourists in the area. And a big thanks to our Nakai, Lisa who was a wonderful hostess"

"Location is excellent, quiet and accessible with beautiful views. The staff are so kind and helpful. All spaces were very clean. I would noemally shy away from a buffet but was very satisfied with the options and includes all beverages as well for dinner. "

"Lovely place - very spacious room that felt super luxurious after Tokyo. If you don’t mind walks or bike rides, it’s a great location with wonderful view of the lake. Fuji is not visible but we didn’t mind going out to catch views on clear days. Onsen was wonderful. Also the breakfast buffet was good and varied and the cocktail hour hors d’oeuvres were reasonably substantial. Staff were helpful. The shuttle from train station does not operate in the middle of the day which was annoying because lots of people arrive from Tokyo then and we could not get a taxi so had to walk with our bags about 1.5km. If an issue for you, don’t arrive in this window. Better yet, the hotel will read this and change this policy :)"
