Clean comfortable place

We are a group of 55+ years old. The place is very conveniently located to North Beach. Walking distance to restaurants as well. We really recommend the place.

Great location!

The location was fantastic! It is within walking distance to ferry, bus line, beach, taco carts, bars, restaurants, and anything else you would need. Miriam greeted us when we arrived and was very helpful when we needed her for a minor issue.

Fantastic location

This property is in a fantastic central location on the north end of the island. It's not fancy, but, the location makes up for it. It's adequate. How much time will you be inside anyway. The balcony is awesome. Water is supplied by owner, huge bonus.

The apartment is in a perfect location, close to everything. There was enough space for us with our two sons. The photos on the listing are old photos so the exterior and some of the furniture is different. A couple of small improvements would be more comfortable indoor and outdoor sofas and some new pillows. The owner was very responsive. Miriam, the caretaker, was willing to meet a grocery delivery service prior to our arrival on Christmas Eve, eliminating some stress for us. One big bonus is purified water that is included. It was so nice not to have to be constantly buying bottles of water!

Great location!

We enjoyed a 2 night stay in the condo. Location was perfect. Rented a cart for half day to see Punta Sur but otherwise everything was walkable. This place is right in the heart of it. Because of that there is a lot of street noise and music into the early morning. I use earplugs and had no problem sleeping but some may have trouble. The condo is not new but it was clean. The shower and the king sized bed were great. We also enjoyed the balcony. If you are looking to be out and about all day and have a close place to crash at night, this is it.

Stayed here with my fiancé, my 20 year old son and my best friend. The two bedrooms with two baths were a perfect set up. Location was perfect to reach the beach and eateries. We took the bus to enjoy one of the beach clubs one day. We rented a 24-hour golf cart another day. We needed that cart for the cultural food tour. We enjoyed exploring the island and the turtle’s mating at sunrise at punta Sur. Oh and we went on an Isla contoy trip which is a must do! We stayed for a full week. So fun! We will be back for sure. I would definitely consider staying here again!

Accommodating and Trustworthy

I got my dates wrong and we arrived a day early. I was so worried that we wouldn’t have a place to stay but when we arrived we found Miriam cleaning and she welcomed us in. Actually. The whole neighborhood welcomed us as we walked down the street. Please, if you book this spot, you have to meet Tristian, the young shop owner across the street who helped us with directions, recommendations and more. When we originally arrived, Tristian said, “welcome to the neighborhood my friends!” This location is full of life and gives you a good look into the island locals. Excellent restaurants all around and super close to the beach. Miriam was so trustworthy too. I tried to pay her for the extra day and she insisted I talk to the owner, which I did and paid via VIRBO. Again, accommodating and trustworthy. We will be back!

Our host Miriam was awesome! She communicated prior to our arrival and was very responsive to us and even provided us with an iron when we requested one. She was friendly and helpful with recommendations and with getting a few items "fixed" on the property that were damaged when we arrived, including the toilet seat. The property is in the IDEAL spot. It is steps away from playa centro and short walks away from both the ferry and playa norte. Anything you need is literally 3-5 minutes away. It also has a nice balcony for people watching on the second floor where we stayed. The best thing about this property is its location...on the flip side, I really wish the owner would do some updates on the property to make it more modernized and esthetically pleasing. It could use a good coat of paint, some updated furniture and window dressings. It is just a bit drab, but we didn't spend too much time inside so it wasn't that big an issue. Just more pride in ownership would be great. Overall recommend this cute little condo.

Amazing location to EVERYTHING, 3 blocks walk from the ferry terminal no need for a taxi. Accommodations was nice with a lovely terrace where you can sit a watch all the active action on the street. Will definitely stay at the location again

Centro Isla Mujeres

Everything was in working order. There are 2 layers of security, the door to the whole building, and the apartment having codes for entry. Tristan at the shop across the street is very friendly.

Great place for a family vacation

The apartment was perfect for my family! It was the perfect location to access the beach, restaurants, and the ferry. We didn't have to constantly buy bottled water because of the purified water on-site. The wifi was consistent and the beach towels were appreciated. The onsite staff was so friendly and helpful. The only hitch was she only spoke Spanish and we weren't fluent. But texts and Google translate helped in a pinch.
