“We had a really enjoyable 2 night stay when we came down to watch some rugby, and were so well looked after by the hosts — all the staff made the place feel very welcoming and homely. I stayed in Room 2 with my two sons and we all felt very comfortable and safe throughout our visit. The beds were great and we slept well both nights.

“The room itself had been recently decorated in a modern decor, unfortunately our bathroom had clearly been smoked in recently, not the hotels fault given all the signs, but the smell was very overpowering and unpleasant. Despite going in winter, we couldn't get the room cool enough -we opened the window and turned off the radiator but couldn't sleep as it was too hot. “The staff we encountered, and another we asked for help with heating, were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were plentiful, although no fruit or brown bread was offered. Toast was offered, but with no suitable crockery. Not enough plug sockets in the bedroom and what were on offer, were not all usable ! Heating was provided in the room - although with no instructions - which proved necessary. Bathroom facilities were good and clean. Parking was plentiful. It was odd that a decaf coffee option……
