"The Gifford House has been completely revamped. New larger rooms complete with big SmartTV and fantastic shower including handheld sprayer and drip down waterfall. Nice large shower includes a bench too. Windows that actually open for fresh air saved us from using the air conditioner. Extra amenities include ear plugs, ear cleaners (Q-tips), make-up cleaning cloth and a fully stocked fridge. Fridge included champagne, all sorts of wines and water (extra charge) (No room to fit any beer though) The safe locked up our laptop and unneeded car keys as well as cash. The stairs were challenging but I heard a lift (elevator) was being installed. The lobby was inviting with lots of space to have a seat and relax. An incredible amount of entertainment was provided on the various sections of the property."

"Stayed in Room 405 a duplex room. 2 bathrooms ( one with tub with jet stream and the other a shower.) Very clean and spacious. Had a kitchen with all the equipments. Living room with tv. They offered parking and free bikes to lend. Breakfast was delicious and everyday unlimited wine and cheese was served at 5pm. Staff super helpful. Had a jacuzzi and heated pool to enjoy. Definitely would stay and recommend this place"

"We arrived for a quick weekend getaway and booked this property. There is parking but first come first served. If you get a spot don’t move your car. lol. Overall our room was so quaint and unique. The bed was a little firm but overall great vibe. Also in suite coffee maker. We used the hot tub which felt great after a day of walking. They also have a sauna as well. I would definitely stay here again. Conveniently located to Commercial St and staff was friendly rooms and property have a great vibe."

"The location is beautiful, overlooking the salt marsh, and a half mile walk into P-town. The rooms are small but clean, and don't have adequate closet space and a place for suitcases. The continental breakfast was really nice our first morning, but the staff member in charge of that no-showed our second morning. A sweet housekeeping staff member filled in eventually and did the best she could to find the supplies to put out."
