“We had the most amazing time at Bayard’s Cove Inn. We stayed in the Nelson Suite, which was full of character, with a sea view on one side and beautiful Dartmouth on the other. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome, and that warmth continued throughout our stay. The breakfast was the best we’ve ever had, and the staff truly couldn’t do enough for us. Highly recommended!”

“We stayed for one night only and the reception was friendly. We bought a plug-in air freshener as the room smelt funky. The single bed was uncomfortable. Very noisy at night due to karaoke - but this was the summer in Paignton so I guess it’s normal. Hotel is near the main strip so very convenient. ”

“Check in was a nightmare...one member of staff to multiple people waiting in a line.....dust around tv and no bag in bins or properly clean rooms.no info about ev charging and more annoying was car park was full yet when i popped out just for 5mins my spot was taken...parking should be allocated per room”

“A good place to stay. Hotel nicely decorated for christmas and convenient for pier, beach and high street. The room and shower room was clean and beds comfortable. Staff was helpful and cooked breakfast was tasty.breakfast ”

“Sarah & Marc met us as we arrived with a drink & a chat to welcome us. The room with en-suite was beautifully decorated, clean & quiet. The breakfast menu was very varied with fruit, cereals, juice etc to start, and a varied menu with plenty of choice for the main course, beautifully cooked. Would highly recommend. Thank you both for a lovely stay”

“The staff were excellent could not do enough for us. The property is beginning to look shabby in places, needs T.L.C. We had a lovely suite looking over the bay with a balcony, but I was very very disappointed that all the balcony doors were locked off so no one could open them. A sticker on the door says that it is waiting for maintenance. On enquiry the maintenance has not done for a very long time. I am a keen photographer which made the stay very disappointing.”

“Very enjoyable short break in Torquay. Hotel was very nice, comfortable and the facilities in the spa and pool exceptional. Only slight criticism is that we found the menu for dinner in the restaurant quite restrictive with no specials available. Food was fine but options not great. Would definitely return to hotel but wouldn't have evening meal there again.”

“Clean room. Mattress not great very springy and going in all directions and had to ask for a duvet the second night to lie on to get some sleep. This was disappointing Bar good. Booked for dinner but service was sadly lacking, food ok. Outside balcony good to sit outside and staff table service was good Spectacular view from the room and may visit again ”
