"I stayed at the Plumeria Inn for 4 nights. The unit is like a studio apartment. It is well outfitted with just about everything you need. I cooked all of my meals here. It was very clean and the interior is almost completely new. I was on my own this trip and felt very safe. My unit had a balcony with a hammock which was wonderful. The air conditioning unit worked great and was silent - so great. The proximity to the water and beautiful side road to walk and run on is great. It was an incredible value and I would absolutely stay here again. Ear plugs were helpful for sleep as there is some noise from the road - not a deal breaker at all. The manager is very responsive."

"The cottage was absolutely lovely, clean and had great amenities - everything we could ask for. We stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage, which was up to date and decorated beautifully. The communication by the owners was tremendous from directions to recommendations on things to do. We found it so peaceful and loved sitting on the lanai enjoying the view of the ocean in the distance. I highly recommend it!"

"Clean room great view on 3rd floor corner unit. No air conditioning and it was beautiful blowing all night. Beds are nice small kitchen. Perfect for our stay and staff was very nice."

"We enjoyed our 8 night stay. The star is the location, less than a 5 minute drive from downtown Hilo but sitting perched on the edge of a bluff with 180 degree views stretching from the surfing beach to your left to Hilo Bay to your right. The outdoor spaces with these views really expand the use of the space. The interior is cozy, with three good-sized bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. And the property owner was very good at communicating, both upfront and also in response to any questions that we had. "
