Older building in much need of repair. Our sliding glass doors were rusted and difficult to open. Windows are clouded. Pool was large and clean. Restaurant was nice. Nice to have pool bar available. I booked a massage in the spa. I don’t think the girl was an actual massage therapist.

The room was reserved with oceanview, and the view didn't disappoint. Sunrise and full moonrise were spectacular!!! The pool is nice and super clean. If your breakfast is included, it is two eggs made to your specs, some fruits, coffee, OJ. Or, you can order your breakfast and pay for it, and if you still have included breakfast, have that one packed for you to go. However, the property shows its age - either it is really getting old, or maybe the proximity to ocean ages it faster than the staff can keep up - and staff is constantly buzzing around, trying to do something. Overall, the place and the price are worth it if you want the beach time. For crazy spring break style parties, you need to get something further north - you can take kids to Cyan, and it will be safe and sound.

Full honesty, staff was friendly but that was the only good thing about this property. The hotel and Room itself was a poor decision. It was not cleaned at all, the moment we arrived within a hour of arrival, we had to contact maintenance “3 times” because the toilet was not working. There was food crumbs all over the floor, even a used floss stick still in the restroom, the tv wasn’t working. The shower is a mess, when full pressure on, it spills out and all over the floor and drips into the hallway.& I’m not exaggerating. There was some dead flies on the window area. Within the first hour of arriving we were looking for a new hotel but they wouldn’t refund us so we were stuck staying here. Luckily it was only two nights but never again. I don’t recommend, much nicer hotels nearby and for the same price.

The hotel seems to have been built in the late 90s or early 2000s and hasn’t undergone a major renovation since. The concept is interesting, but the property clearly needs a serious update and stronger management to reach its potential. The staff were friendly, though not always very professional, and communication in English was sometimes limited. The beach is beautiful with crystal-clear water, but strong waves were common during our stay. Red flags were up almost every day, meaning swimming was not allowed. There are also rocks in some areas, although walking a bit further leads to sections marked with yellow flags that feel safer. On the positive side, the pool is definitely the hotel’s main highlight. It’s visually impressive and creates a great atmosphere, even though the water is quite cold. The other strong point is the food — breakfasts were good, and overall the kitchen did a nice job.

Room had stained loveseat . Stained floors , ceilings . Old out dated curtains . The staff was very kind and courteous Expect charges at checkout for towels with stains . No ice available . No microwave in room .High pressure sales in lobby for tours . Service at bar was slow , not faulting the bartender . Pool was nice , beach access great .

Where do I start? When I got to the room the outside of the door was dirty - not a good sign. When I walked in the white couch had stains on it, the drawer handles were coming off and I was concerned I would be charged so I made sure to document these issues. The refrigerator was personal size and had an odor to it. It also included a wet bar with overpriced drinks. The shower was the doozy. The bathroom just kinda smelled like a combo of sewer & mold. Probably because the water didn’t drain from the shower so by the time you finished you had a couple inches of standing water that would remain there until the maid came to mop it up. The staff were more like guards. They were constantly patrolling around looking to see if someone adjusted the lounge chair or moved the on the beach lounger by an inch or two. The pool was gorgeous but the poolside bar closed an hour early. Actually the entrance to the beach routinely closed 45-60 minutes earlier than mandated. When I have stayed in Cancun in the past I have been provided with one bottle of water daily. Not this place - your first bottle of water is free but from then on expect to pay. What was good about the room? The bed was comfortable, the view was STUNNING from the balcony (the lock required slamming the door multiple times and manipulating it though) and the sounds of the waves were awesome Bottom line - Do NOT waste your money. The problems and unsanitary conditions far outweighed the view.

This Hotel is dated for sure . The staff were all great no issues there. We were only there a couple nights before flying home and ate at the restaurant 2 nights .the food wasnt bad , it wasnt great , but portions were small for what you payed !
