"The room was worn and tired. The bathroom was dingy and the bathtub didn't drain while taking a shower."

"We arrived at Best Western Chilton and checked in quickly — only a 5-minute wait behind another group. The front desk clerk was kind and went above and beyond: she got me a bandage for a hand injury I sustained unloading luggage and came after hours to turn on the water machine so we could fill our bottles. After settling the kids in, I soaked in the hot tub which was not hot, but it was still warm and relaxing. The shower was clean and functional, if a bit dorm-like with the fully tiled bathroom. Falling asleep was another story. Despite a white noise machine and earplugs, bass from music at the bar next door kept me up for hours until it finally stopped in the early morning. I wish I'd known to request a room on the other side of the building but it was too late by the time I noticed the music. Breakfast the next morning was enjoyable — the kids and I loved the pancakes and sausages — though watching the clerk pour scrambled eggs from a plastic bag into the buffet dish wasn't the most appetizing sight. Checkout was smooth and easy. Would stay again — just in a room on the other side of the building."

"For our family of 5, including 2 teens, we have more than enough room. Location is close to hwy, across the street from Target and a couple food places. Indoor pool and hot tub were used almost daily but the bleach like chemicals definitely started to take a toll on our skins. Even after a shower, I can still smell it on my skin. Breakfast was good, however, it seemed like once food was running low, you had to ask if there was more. So definitely get to Breakfast early. Juice selection could be better. Overall, if in a pinch, we would stay here again but definitely in need of some TLC to the building."

"The staff--especially the young ones--were extremely helpful! It was a nice, quiet stay. The one thing, the cleaning people didn't give fresh bedding and did not make the beds when they came by (3-night stay). Maybe that's the Inn's policy and I missed that; at any rate, it's not a deal-breaker. Nor did we get fresh towels--only upon request, at least after the first night. Maybe this was a communication issue with the cleaning people: passing her in the hall, her English wasn't great, and she might have misunderstood me. Anyways, I would definitely stay there again. I would give them between a 7.5 - 7.9 rating out of 10."
