"The hotel is located in the China Town area (that is, many restaurants nearby) and not far from the subway station. The room was clean but very compact. The hotel staff were friendly, and one of them spoke Mandarin (she is Japanese)."

"The bed was so tilted at an angle that I had to put a pillow under it to get it level and I could feel the springs through the mattress. I also requested non smoking room but they only had smoking available. They wouldn’t cancel my reservation but were able to get me in a non smoking room for most of my reservation but I had to switch during the middle of my stay to a smoking room, so I just went and stayed somewhere else because the smoking rooms smelled terrible. "Clean, quiet and a wonderful staff. Very close to the station and a Lawson's and grocery shops. I would definitely stay here again while in Kamakura. "
